alternate weeks. This guard was mounted at 10.15 p.m. and die-
missed at 7 a.m. daily.
Volunteer Feadquarters Guard A quart consisting of 1 X.0.0.and
3 men from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. an^ 1 1.0.0.and 12 men from 7 p.m.
to 7 a.m. was found by H,K,V.7.and H.K.V.C. on alternate weeks.

Peak Guard. Between the 13th March 1915 and the 8th April
1915 at Mount Austin Barranka the Peak, a guard consisting of 1
offiner and 20 rank and file was found by the R.X.V.R. and H.K.V.C.
on alternate weeks. This guard was mounted at 10.15 p.m.and re-
mained on duty till 7 a.m.
(111) Gun Club Hill Detachment and Frisoners of War Camp Huard.
Between the 15th May 1915 and the 17th January 1916 a detachment at Gun Club Hill Kowloon consisting of 1 officer 3 N.C.C.and 24 men and a guard at the prisoners of Capy Hunghom consisting of 1 officer 3 1.0.0's and 24 men later 25 men were found by the
H.K.V.R. and the H.E.V.6.on alteammate weeke. The Guardi for the prisoners of War Camp paraded daily at 6.10 p.m.at the Star Ferry Wharf Hongkong. The Gun Club Hill detachment paraded at 9.15 p.m. at the same plaso. Both the guard and detachment were dismissed at 5.30 a.m. each day. This detachment and guard were discontinued
on the morning of the 17th January 1916 on which date the prisonere of War were removed to the S.S."Empire"en route for Australia, "B" Company of the R.X.V.K. anted an escort of the Frisoners of
War from the amp to the S.S."Empire".

Tai-ho-wan Bay Guard. Commencing on 21st January 1916 &
guard consisting of 1 X.0.0.and 3 men was mounted daily at 6 p.m. and dismissed at 6 &.Th. This guard was found by the H.K.V.R. and
k.k.V.C. on alternate weeks, and was discontinued on the 20th
March 1916 on which date the 4th K.3.1.I. took over the duties.
Vireless Station Stonecutters Island Guard. Cormenging on the 3lat January 1916 a guard consisting of 1 1.0.0.and 6 mon is found by the H.K.V.R. and H.X.V.0.on alternate weoka. This guard parades
daily at 5.15 p.m. and is dismissed at 6.30 a.m.
